Our non-toxic, bio-degradable cleaning solutions are the safest available without compromising cleaning power. They deliver the same or often better results than the high alkaline solvents used by most carpet cleaning companies without the sticky residue that can lead to rapid re-soiling.

A hot water extraction or "steam" carpet cleaner consumes over a gallon of water per minute. A typical steam cleaner will use approximately 120 gallons of water to clean 1,000 sq. ft. of carpet. This means that every minute that cleaning is performed; a gallon of water will be removed from the municipal water supply and a variety of cleaning chemicals and solvents will be introduced to the water during the cleaning process.

The water that's recovered from the carpet will therefore contain soil and contaminants from the carpet as well as a host of chemicals. This concoction of "black" water, which is often literally black, will then be discharged into the municipal sewage system as "spent" water. In other words at a rate of a gallon of water per minute, clean water is consumed, contaminated, and discharged as sewage. What a waste of a natural resource!

Floor Care Solutions uses a more environmentally responsible approach. Our unique cleaning system uses encapsulation technology to capture soil during the carpet cleaning process. This cleaning system can effectively clean 300 square feet of carpet with a single gallon of water and, after the carpet dries, the soil is extracted through routine vacuuming. This is a simple, effective, earth-friendly approach!

Using less water to clean your carpet also means quicker drying times. This reduces the likelihood of microbial growth and mold which can be detrimental to your indoor air quality. Limiting the amount of water used to clean your carpet is good for the environment and for your health.

You've probably heard the old adage to "wait as long as you can before you clean your new carpet because it will re-soil more quickly after it gets cleaned". Unfortunately, that adage was actually true, until now. In the past, carpet detergent residue would attract soil after the carpet was cleaned, but with our new polymeric cleaning agent this is no longer true. The brittle crystallized polymer can't attract soil; it actually repels soil so carpets stay cleaner longer.
