The IICRC is the non-profit certification and standard-setting organization for the inspection, cleaning and restoration industries.

IICRC-certified firms have earned the right to display the IICRC logo by sending their technicians through comprehensive training programs. Each category of certification has its own unique requirements and certification process, covering a specific area of expertise. In all cases the individual must attend an IICRC approved school and successfully complete college level courses and written examinations. In addition they must have actual field experience for specific lengths of time, sometimes years, and be able to document his or her skills in the subject.
