Floor Care Solutions is an Institution of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) Certified Firm. Our individual certifications include; Carpet, Upholstery and Textile Cleaning & Restoration, Commercial Carpet Maintenance,  Color Repair, Odor Control, and Carpet Repair & Reinstallation.  Professional Designations include Journeymen Textile Cleaner as well as the highest designation in the industry, that of MASTER TEXTILE CLEANER. Multiple prerequisites must be satisfied as well college level classes, written examinations as well as documented field experience to receive the Masters certification. The Master Textile Cleaner certification takes several years of committed continuous study to achieve and is the industry’s most prestigious Certification. In fact, industry statistics show only 2% of Certified Cleaners will ever achieve this distinction.  

President of Floor Care Solutions- John Cozy, MTC, CIEC is a Master Textile Cleaner (MTC) and has extensive experience in the Indoor Air Quality industry as well. He also has attained the professional designation of Council-Certified Indoor environmental Consultant (CIEC) by the American Indoor Air quality Council.  

The CIEC certificate holders have demonstrated their knowledge and experience in such fields as building sciences, Industrial hygiene, indoor environmental risk assessment, microbial investigation-remediation and consulting. A CIEC certification applicant must demonstrate academic proficiency and have at least eight years of documented field experience conducting indoor air quality investigations. After completing the required course and curriculums, the applicant must successfully complete a three-hour, closed book examination. Finally, after successfully completing all of the academic and field experience requirements, the applicant must then under go an extensive board review process.
